Room to Grow
The Piotrowskis are an active, modern family with two children who moved into the bonacasa Aarenau Süd development six months ago. Parents Piotr and Monika, both 36, are architects, and need to juggle their professional lives with family life with daughters Maja, 7, and Oliwia, 2.
“The overall package convinced us to rent an apartment here. Our eldest daughter is walking-distance from school and our youngest just has to walk across the courtyard and she’s in nursery. That’s perfect for us. It saves us time and affords us a better quality of life. How many people have a nursery right on their doorstep?”, laughs Piotr.

The Piotrowski family’s perspective on bonacasa.

The family has previously lived in Engadine and Scotland, in very rural areas. The option of living close to the city but surrounded by green space was really important to them, and the bonacasa development has it all.
“The concierge made it much easier for us to settle into our new surroundings. She always responded to our questions or needs quickly, so we felt at home in no time”, says Monika.
We organised a birthday party for them, and the Piotrowskis say they’re likely to try other offers such as the holiday or babysitting services. The family was already familiar with the service approach. In Engadine, the “full-service mentality” is the norm for most apartments.
“Feeling at home” is the most important thing for the family, and they’re already looking forward to next summer when people will be mingling more, playing with the children in the courtyard and generally enjoying some good conversation.
