Advertising Executive Nicole Renggli, 33, and Marketing Manager Jürg Emmenegger, 37, are a typical working couple with little time to spare and high standards in terms of what they look for in a home. In a few weeks they’ll be moving into a neat, centrally located penthouse with a spacious terrace in the new bonacasa Zwiebacki development in Malters.

It took them almost two years to find the right place. Why? They had several criteria they wanted their home to meet, including a residential environment that would be suitable for their changing needs when they eventually retire. Nicole and Jürg both lived in the Malters commune as children, and later moved to Lucerne. Now they’re coming back to their roots. “Wellbeing” is their watchword. “We spend lots of time in meetings, so our free time is precious”, explains Jürg.
