1 How does bonacasa's 24/7 emergency call service work?
The bonacasa emergency call service is a tried and tested intervention solution so that people can call for help in emergency situations at any time of the day or night - whether in their own homes or on the move in Switzerland and large parts of Europe.

2 How much does the 24/7 emergency call service cost?
The subscription costs just CHF 35 per month. A one-time connection fee of 190 francs is due when the contract is signed.

3 What is included in the monthly fee?
Whether for you alone or for the whole family: the price is per household. In addition to the login-based use of the 24/7 emergency call service via the bonacasa app, the price also includes the connection to the 24-hour emergency call centre.

4 How many contact persons do I need to specify?
Preferably, you should specify three contact persons from your environment who can be on site quickly in the event of an emergency. If there are not three trusted people living in your vicinity, we will find a solution together. The bonacasa key safe, for example, is recommended in any case.

6 What happens in the event of an emergency?
If an unforeseen event occurs, rapid action is required. You can call for help at the touch of a button and our medically trained staff will initiate appropriate measures for the respective emergency situation.

7 What happens if I trigger a false alarm?
If you accidentally activate the button and unintentionally trigger an alarm, the emergency call centre will take the call and you can simply say that everything is fine with you.

8 What are the minimum contract period and notice periods?
The initial minimum term is six months. After that, the subscription can be cancelled at any time with a notice period of one month to the end of each month.

9 Do I have to install my emergency call device myself?
No, we will be happy to help you with the professional installation and commissioning of your emergency call device directly at your home without obligation. We will find the best location for the emergency call device and test it out. Afterwards, we will explain the operation of the emergency call system to you at your leisure.

10 Do I have to maintain my emergency call device myself?
The emergency call centre monitors each device continuously. If necessary, you or your relatives will be informed when the device needs to be serviced by a technician.

You can also use bonacasa's 24/7 emergency call service without an emergency call device. All you need is a smartphone with access to the Apple Store or Google Play Store to download bonacasa's free app.

Depending on your insurance cover, your health insurance may contribute to the costs in the event of an emergency. It is best to ask your health insurance company directly.

13 What happens if I cannot leave the apartment/house key with a trusted person?
Thanks to our intervention solution, the keys to your flat or house can be deposited in the key box, which can be removed by the emergency services in the event of an emergency using a fixed generated code. This way, no doors have to be broken down if an unforeseen event occurs.

Yes, bonacasa also offers mobile emergency call devices with GPS (Global Positioning System; in short, current position and exact time are continuously signalled). This is suitable for all those who want to enjoy full security at home and on the move. In the event of an emergency, the mobile emergency call device locates the person in distress.

16 What does a mobile emergency call device cost?
The SmartWatcher, a mobile emergency call device, costs 399 Swiss francs. In addition, there are monthly subscription costs for the emergency call service. Unlike most of bonacasa's stationary emergency call devices, the mobile emergency call devices can only be purchased and not rented.
